The first weekend of June saw many of our Welsh archers compete in the 2019 UK Masters competition at Lilleshall.
We’re pleased to say that across the three different competitions, our Welsh archers, especially our juniors and cadets were leading the way.
Ryan Pinder and Rhys Harper won their gold medal matches in the Head of Head competitions for gent recurve and gent compound and Rhys finished in third place in the Team compound event.
Thea Rogers made it into the bronze medal match of the H2H, finishing in 4th place.
Alex Newnes finished in 2nd place in the WA1440 competition and in 3rd place in the H2H competition.
Nicola Phillips also took 1st place in the team longbow competition.
This is a brilliant result for our Welsh archers – well done to everyone.
