9.30 a.m - Arrival - Registration - Tea/Coffee
10.00 a.m - Welcome - “Archery in Wales - The state of the Nation”
We have been really lucky to get the following people to do workshops for us at this conference.
It is the ambition of many of our Junior Archers to shoot for their country at the Olympics, so what is involved in getting there? It is up to us as coaches to manage these expectations and wherever possible guide them on the pathway. The morning’s workshops will hopefully give ideas and a better understanding of what’s needed.
10.40 a.m
Workshop 1 - A Junior Club Academy - Marian Howells
Marian is going to talk about the Junior Club Academy she runs at Blandy Jenkins Archers from a coaches perspective.
Workshop 2 - AGB Performance Pathway - Ryan Pinder
Ryan has represented Gt Britain and Wales Internationally. He is going to talk about his journey from the WAA Academy through the AGB Pathway.
11.30-11.40 a.m - Workshop changeover
12.40 p.m - Lunch. Tea and Coffee will be available

Workshop 3 - Update on Recurve Technology - Graham Weller
Graham needs no introduction and is always interesting.
Workshop 4 - Barebow Set up and Tuning - Mal Williams
Mal is an experienced Barebow Archer and Coach who provides technical support to his wife Vicky who has competed as a Barebow archer in World and European Field Archery Championships.
